Tom is a Language Arts and ESL Educator for K-12 public, private, charter schools and adjunct professor in Communications at Kent State University, Walsh University, Bryant & Stratton College. Tom has worked extensively with the refugee community in youth education and senior program enrichment in both Minneapolis and Akron. He is co-founder of Shanti Community Farms and Yard Corps preserving the agricultural heritage of area immigrants and providing outdoor work experiences for inner-city youth.
